its been awhile but I'm back

Well it has been awhile, and i feel rested,ready and full of crafty ideas, i've had a babe since my last post, and shes a treat, really really lucy to have such a stunning babe in my life and she's really blended into our family like she has always been here, and she looks pretty please with herself i must say! today my wee Jazz rocked on all fours, she'll be shooting around our home in no time

i have come to the realisation that i may just have an addictive personality, something my hubby and children could have told you years ago I'm sure!! as those who know me and some that don't know....i am completely addicted to fibre, my home has become a haven to unwanted yarns and fabrics kindly given to me by random people on the street ( true story ) friends, op shops, big w, and online stores....so it was only a matter of time before i found handspun art yarn...etsy has alot to answer for in our home!....and so this has taken me to my new love~ my spinning wheel~  and all kinds of fun can be had with all new kinds of fibres...silks, cottons, reclaimed sweater yarns, fleece, roving , tops, alpaca, and i can now name all kinds of sheep by breed! 

trust me spinning is a great stress relief, is easy to learn and fun! and most towns (even the small ones) have spinning and weaving groups, filled with people who are happy to help you learn this wonderful skill.....i call these people enablers....  so if you are a fibre addicted person such as me...try it....and now to show off, pic of my very first handspun....
